Disease : It  is a disorder of structure and function in a human, animal, or plant, especially one that produces specific symptoms or that effects a specific location and is  not simply a direct result of physical injury. 

1. Disease: Ring Worm

Mode of transmission: Direct contact with the infected person

Causative pathogen:Three genera( Fungus) 

Preventive measures: Good hygiene, not sharing personal items like towels and combs with infected person.

2. Disease: Common cold

Mode of transmission: Air,   

Causative pathogen: Rhinovirus (Virus)

Preventive measures: Washing hands regularly; avoiding close contact with people having common cold

3. Disease: Poliomyelitis 

Mode of transmission: Air and water

Causative pathogen:Polio virus(Virus) 

Preventive measures: Vaccination

4. Disease: Chickenpox 

Mode of transmission: Air, physical contact with the infected person

Causative pathogen: Zoster virus (Virus)

Preventive measures: Vaccination

5. Disease : Leprosy(Hanson's disease)

Mode of transmission: Spreads by direct contact

Causitive pathogen : Myobacetrium leprae (Bacteria)

Preventive measures: Vaccination, Early diagnosis, isolation.

6. Disease: Amoebiasis

Mode of transmission: By consuming contaminated  food and water.

Causitive pathogen: Entamoeba histolytica(Protozoan)

Preventive measures: Proper hygiene, water treatment, Proper washing of vegetables, medication.
